BOTANICAL GARDEN:
The botanical garden is one of the biggest botanical gardens in colleges affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. It supports many rare, medicinal, endangered and endemic plants growing in 1 Area.
Biodiversity: 360 plant species (including Bryophytes, Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Angiosperms)

Miss. M. N. Malekar (B.Sc.-III BOTANY) received 1st Prize in the G.V.Joshi Essay writing competition – 2008 – An University Level Competition.Outstanding results of B.Sc.-III for last several years.
The faculty members are working on two Minor Research Projects funded by UGC with a total outlay of Rs. 2,10,000/-.
Staff members are actively engaged in research activities and few of the staff members have received awards in National and International Conferences as ‘Young Scientist Award’.
